Are there any side effects to IVF?

I read somewhere that IVF treatments can cause loss of hair and brittle skin. I don’t know how true this is, can Mamas who have done it pls share with us or other side effects associated with it

U mean after the injections it can lead to that?

The only side effects I noticed after mine was from the injections used. I developed cysts and added excess weight. Apart from that, I didn’t have any other side effect. Didn’t notice the hair loss

I don’t think there is any way to prevent the cyst cos it’s the egg that didn’t break after the stimulation that goes on to form cysts. So it’s normal for it to develop if any of your eggs didn’t break. As per the weight gain, watching what you eat helps a lot. Am still battling to loose the one I gained in my last IVF. Some people don’t even notice any changes. It depends on how your body responds to the hormonal drugs used
