Signs of Ovulation

Ovulation is the release of mature eggs from the ovary. It occurs in the ovary with the most mature ovum/ova and it lasts only within 12-24 hours when the egg is viable for fertilization. But your fertile period lasts for a period of 7 days. It is advisable to have sex days before ovulation so there will be enough sperm cells to fertilize the egg once it is released.
Just before your ovulation, you might notice that you have: Increased libido, increased cervical mucus and breast tenderness, swollen vulva or vagina, softening and opening of the cervix, slight cramping, heightened sense of smell, vision and taste these are ovulation signs.

Thank you ma. But I have tried having sex during my ovulation days that know but am not falling pregnant for a period of one year now.

@Joystephen, sis I feel it’s best you see a gynae to know what is causing the delay.
